First Feeding

Friday night was Henry's first solid food feeding -- he's almost 15 weeks old and certainly over 15 lbs., so we thought it was time.

We were right! He took to it like he had been doing it since day one -- he just opened up and swallowed and that was it. Subsequent feedings have gone just as well. We're thinking of starting him on hamburgers and fries next week . . .

Christmas Count Down!

Like father like son . . .

Today (Saturday) saw Adam, Henry and I down in Portland at my brother Matt's house. We were joined by my sister and her two girls and my parents. Christmas Eve is here at our house with my parents, sister and her family, and Christmas Day is up in Brewer with the Fisher family. Its going to be a lot of fun!

Happy Birthday Henry! (3 Months)

Today is Henry's three month birthday! We are now over the 4th trimester hump and I imagine it's smooth sailing from this point on, right?

Little Hen and I have been busy little elves the last few days with Christmas shopping and present wrapping.

We have managed to find some time to lay under the tree and enjoy the lights . . .

For his birthday today, Henry dressed up like Little Santa and we'll be going into the State House today to hit up Mommy's co-workers for money for gifts for the needy -- who can resist a Little Santa?!

Unfortunately, this is what Henry thinks of his outfit . . .

Adam, Henry, and I got our Christmas tree this past Sunday. It is the ugliest tree, truly -- short and skinny. I'm taller than it is, and putting lights on it just made it worse . . . oh well. We did have fun cutting our own, and next year's will be better!

Enjoying a great visit with Grandpa. Henry tried to be with Grandpa while he was being sworn in to the House of Representatives, but it just didn't work out. It was nap time, he was slightly sick, and a bit hungry . . .
